My good friend (and business partner), Thomas Damgaard and I just turned in our university project “Database Adapters”. It’s a pretty interesting piece of work, if (and only if) the following two conditions hold:

• I must say so myself
• You are interested in this very narrow subject

So right after we turned in the paper, we go on vacation. And of course, on the second day of my vacation, I get more sick than the proverbial leper colony. Now, real leper colonies, after all, would probably be worse off. Proverbial items are, in my experience, often safer and more innocuous.

At one point I had asthma, influenza, cold sores and bonitis at the same time.

Ok, bonitis is a made-up disease, but it still doesn’t feel very good when you have it!
